I never planned to become a communications leader. Long before I was speaking about leadership, trust and organisational change, I was speaking about belonging.

In 2015, I started a blog to make sense of my own experiences as an adoptee. What followed was an award-winning community reaching tens of thousands of people and a lesson that has shaped everything I have done since: Communication is ultimately about people.

Today, I speak to organisations, universities, conferences and professional networks about trust, leadership, reputation and change. Not from a textbook perspective, but from the lived experience of seeing how communication shapes people’s lives, communities and institutions.

The most useful conversations rarely provide simple answers.

Whether discussing communications, leadership or organisational change, I am interested in exploring what happens when organisations face uncertainty, competing expectations and difficult decisions. My experience has taught me that communication is rarely about finding the perfect message. More often, it is about helping people navigate uncertainty, build trust and feel understood.

My aim is to leave audiences with practical insights, fresh perspectives and questions worth considering long after the event has finished.

I am available for conferences, guest lectures, panel discussions, podcasts and professional events.

If you are looking for a speaker on communications, leadership, trust, reputation or organisational change, I would be delighted to hear from you.
